Happy Hump Day!! This is such a special Hump Day too!! I am super excited about this surprise I have for y'all! It's a brand new indie collab box, and y'all are in for a HUGE treat!! So without further ado, I give you the first ever #CrellyCrate!!
That's right ladies, an entire polish box of just crellies!! There are so many boxes out there these days, but none like this! This is the brain child of the Crazy 4 Crellies Facebook group creator Margo, and she has gathered some amazing indies for the boxes inaugural launch! The theme for this first box is just perfect: Lazy Summer Days and Hot Summer Nights. The five makers created polishes that represent those endless days and sultry nights of summer we all know and love. So let's get into it!
Hoosier Horizon
First up, we have Pretty & Polished contribution to the box. Hoosier Horizon is a creamy light blue crelly jam packed blue, purple, red, orange and yellow hex and square glitters. Each representing a color in a beautiful summer sunset in Indiana.
This polish is just beautiful. To me it feels like a sunset on denim, so it's definitely perfect for summer! The formula is excellent. Creamy and easy to apply. Excellent glitter coverage, no fishing needed at all. Swatch shows three thin coats plus Topped With Love glossy top coat by Love, Angeline.
Rainbow Ice
Next up is the contribution from The Polish Bar. Rainbow Ice is white crelly with a rainbow mix of glitters and a dash of silver holo microglitter. She is inspired by the ever so yummy Hawaiian shaved ice, and it definitely matches!
This beauty is pure fun! The rainbow and holo make this a truly versatile polish for summer. The formula is wonderful. Super smooth, no fishing needed at all. Swatch shows three coats plus Topped With Love glossy top coat. Alternatively, you could use a white undie and use less coats for opacity.
Island Sun-fetti
Next we have Dollish Polish's contribution. Island Sun-fetti is a pastel raspberry crelly full of different shades of pink, berry, indigo, purple, coral, orange and cobalt matte glitters in different shapes and sizes. She is inspired by a nice tall Long Island...sunset ;).
Isn't she a beaut? It's like an ice cream sunset with sprinkles! Island Sun-fetti has a perfect formula, creamy and easy to work with. No fishing for glitter necessary, not even for the bigger ones. Swatch shows three coats plus Topped With Love glossy top coat.
Sunset on the Rockies
This polish is definitely hot and fiery. It's literally a sunset in a bottle. The formula is buttery and smooth. A breeze to apply. Swatch shows two coats plus Topped With Love glossy top coat.
Noche De Verano
Last, but not least, we have Lolita Lacquer's contribution to the box. Noche De Verano is a squishy purple crelly with purple, pink, and blue glitters in different shapes and sizes. She is inspired by romance under a summer sunset.
Just so squishy!! Truly love how squishy this crelly is. The formula is on the sheerer side, but easy to work with and very buildable. No fishing for any glitters needed at all. Swatch shows four thin coats plus Topped with Love glossy top coat. A white or light purple undie can alternatively be used to lessen the amount of coats needed.
All in all, I am absolutely thrilled with this box! All of the colors are unique and exciting, definite must haves for your summer manis. Each maker beautifully executed their inspiration photos. Great formulas all around make these a great delight.
The Lazy Summer Days and Hot Summer Nights #CrellyCrate will launch on June 4th with a preorder until June 9th.
