Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Fan Favorites 2016: Swatches and Review

**press sample**

Hey there my polished lovelies! I've missed you a lot. Lots has been going on, but I'm getting back into the swing of things! To kick things off, I have Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's Fan Favorites 2016 collection! This 10 polish collection is just fantastic!

Fire In Your Eyes

Fire In Your Eyes is a beautiful red jelly with blue to pink shifting glass flecks. She is a true stunner. Definitely has that wow factor. Formula was super easy to work with. Swatches show two coats plus Love, Angeline Topped With Love glossy top coat.

She's Electricity

She's Electricity is an amazing hot pink linear holo with pink and aqua glass flecks and purpley (yes that's a word lol) blue iridescent microglitters. Formula was smooth and easy to work with. Swatches show two coats plus TWL glossy top coat.

Sordid End

Sordid End is a beautiful periwinkle crelly with a blue to purple shift. Semi sheer as it is a crelly, but the build up is beautiful and smooth. Swatches show three thin coats with TWL glossy top coat.

I'm Dr. Martha Jones, Who The Hell Are You?

I'm Dr. Martha Jones, Who The Hell Are You? is a gorgeous bright fuchsia creme with green to gold to blue shifting glass flecks. This was one of my favorites of the bunch. She dries fairly quickly with a satin matte finish, which initially worried me but the formula was great and gave no issues. Swatches show three thin coats with TWL glossy top coat.

Flash Forward Fantasy

Flash Forward Fantasy is a nude polish with violet flakies and a strong pink to gold shift, which I wasn't able to capture well in my photos *sad face*. I am not a nude polish lover, but this knocked my socks off. This beauty also dries fairly quickly with a satin matte finish, and again formula was great and gave no issues. Swatches show three thin coats plus TWL glossy top coat.

The One Worth Leaving

The One Worth Leaving is amazing deep berry pink with pink and purple glass flecks. It's dark, vampy and sexy. I will admit I swatched this color twice, simply because I wasn't happy with the look I initially achieved. The formula was great, leaned slightly jelly like, so as few brush strokes as possible is needed. The first time I used three thin coats. While I achieved full opacity, and then some, the polish seemed too dark and I wasn't able to see or enjoy the glass flecks. The second time I used just two thicker coats and was very please with the results. Dark, vampy and sexy with the glass flecks visible. Swatches show two coats with TWL glossy top coat.

Cold Inside Me

Cold Inside Me is an amazing medium teal polish with blue to teal shifting glass flakes. This was another stunner that knocked my socks off. She dries to a satin matte finish, so the less brush strokes the better. While the formula was great, the first coat was a tiny bit streaky but was completely even with the second coat. Swatches show two coat with TWL glossy top coat.

Hydrangea

Hydrangea is a pastel blue crelly packed with purple, blue, and aqua shimmers. Somewhat on the sheerer side of a crelly, this color is soft and feminine. Formula was good, just a tad streaky on the first coat, but evens out completely on the third. As this polish is heavy on the shimmers, the streakiness could be caused by my using too thin of a coat or too many brush strokes. Swatches show three thin coats plus TWL glossy top coat.

Lilac Blondes on the Beach

Lilac Blondes on the Beach is a sandy nude linear holo packed with purple shimmer and purple microflakies. She is the Fan Design Winner and was created with Corrine Loftus. Julie has truly won me over with these nude polishes. Formula was great, easy to work with. Swatches show three thin coats plus TWL top coat.

Three Years and S-Teal Going!

Three Years and S-Teal Going! was created to honor BEGL 3rd birthday. She is an aqua/teal crelly packed with clear holo microglitters and purple/blue microflakies. Another stunner for sure. I used thin coats with this polish, so the first coat was semi streaky, but the formula was great otherwise and evened out beautifully. Swatches show three thin coats with TWL glossy top coat.

It's easy to see why these were chosen as favorites. All of the colors are just amazing. I definitely have a few favorites, but the whole collection is a must have in my book. All of these beauties are available now in the BEGL shop. Get yours before its too late! Until next time my lovelies!
