Hey there! Hope you're having a fantastic weekend! I have some more pretties from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer for you today. This month's Destination Duo features Aliquid Lacquer and the theme is Venice.
This month's duo is based off this photo taken by Allison of Aliquid Lacquer while in Venice. It inspired two absolutely gorgeous polishes!
First up is Canal Couture by Aliquid Lacquer. She is a beautiful pastel salmon crelly with turquoise microflakies and sparkle. This was my first polish from this brand, and it won't be my last. Canal Couture is absolutely gorgeous, and you know I love me some crellies. The formula on this was amazing. Swatches show two coats plus Love, Angeline Topped With Love glossy top coat.
Next up is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's contribution, Gondolier's Garden. She is a beautiful red leaning purple creme packed with orange shimmer and red microflakies. Talk about a total stunner. While the first coat was semi streaky, I am chalking that up to using thin coats and the sheer amount of shimmer and flakies in this beauty. Other than that first coat, the formula was on point. Swatches show three thin coats and TWL glossy top coat.
Also included in this duo is a cute little packet of matching glitters. These can be used for a cute nail art design with the polishes. Just be sure to not put them in the polish bottles themselves!
Each month Julie and her guest maker put out a gorgeous collab set. It's a lot of fun seeing their visions come to life just from one photo. I will admit that this duo is definitely a favorite.
