Hello and welcome back! It's been awhile! I've been super sick the last two weeks with the flu, but tonight I have sooo many goodies to share with you. Today, Julie at Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer launched her monthly Destination Polish Duo! This month's guest is Sara from Cupcake Polish, and together they made one gorgeous duo!

The Cheers to the New Year duo polishes are based off of this picture taken by Julie while watching a fireworks show. You get two polishes, one crelly and one holo, and a bag of holo glitter for nail art. Let's get into some swatches and take a closer look at these beauties!

Kanpai

Kanpai is Julie's contribution to this month's duo. She is a white crelly packed with silver and red shimmer, lime iridescent glitter, gold iridescent glitter, green iridescent glitter, red to gold to green shifting glitter, purple to green shifting shimmer, and clear holographic glitter. There's so much amazingness going on in this polish. Formula was really great and easy to work with. As with most crellies and glitter packed polishes, it helps a lot if you wait for each coat to fully dry before going to the next. Swatches show three thin coat plus a glossy top coat.

Cheers! is Sara's contribution to this month's duo. She is a black linear holo with green to yellow, red to blue to magenta, and teal to purple to magenta multichrome flakies. Every brush stroke was bathed in flakie goodness, and the holo is super strong! Formula was fantastic, super easy to work with. Swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.
