Polish 'M Facebook Custom Trio

Hello lovelies! It's been quite a bit since my last post. Was lacking severe motivation to write a full post. But that's all changed now! I'm ready to start back in the swing of things. To kick it off I have some great polishes from Michelle at Polish 'M for ya!

Polish 'M Facebook Group Custom Trio

One of the perks of being in brand fan groups is that they often do exclusive group customs. These customs are only available to the members of the group, and each group does them differently.
This beautiful trio was an exclusive custom for the members of her fan group. It featured a holo and two crellies. So let's take a closer look!

Polish 'M "XOXOX"

Macro shot of "XOXOX"

First up is XOXOX, a beautiful deep purple/plum holo with flakies and glitter. It truly sparkles. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat. The formula on this was fantastic. Smooth, buttery and very easy to work with.

Nail art with "XOXOX"

Here is some nail art I did with XOXOX. The 'xoxo' and lips were made using nail art vinyls from Sweet Lacquer (use code SWEETFOX to get 10% off your order). Silver holo polish is Cryogenic Refrigerant by Vapid Lacquer.

Polish 'M "Sweets For The Sweet"

Macro shot of "Sweets For The Sweet"

Next up is Sweets For The Sweet, a beautiful light purple crelly with shimmer and a great mix of matte glitters in light blue, maroon, purple, and a light pink. It's absolutely beautiful. Shown here in two coats plus a glossy top coat. The formula was great, a brush full of glitter each time.

Nail art with "Sweets For The Sweet"

I added some stamping on top, with a little glitter placement as well. I used BornPrettyStore stamping plate BPL-023 for the heart lollipops. Stamped using Northern Skies by Fancy Gloss. Heart glitters were gifted to me in a swap box.

Polish 'M "Cupids Love"

Macro shot of "Cupids Love"

Last, but certainly not least, is Cupids Love, a gorgeous grey crelly with sparkly mix of glitter and a great shimmer. I'm an absolute sucker for grey crellies, and this beauty does not disappoint. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat. Again, as with the previous polish, the formula is fantastic and really easy to work with.

Nail art with "Cupids Love"

I'm completely in love with this mani! It has all my favorite colors in it. I used BornPrettyStore stamping plate BP-71 for the heart beat design. Stamped using Unicorn Bait by Nvr Enuff Polish. It stands out while still being slightly subtle. Love it!

I really love this trio; it's got all my favorite colors and finishes! Michelle really knocked it out of the park with this trio. If you're not part of her Facebook group, you should really join. It's a fun and supportive group, full of awesome people! Anywho, thanks for stopping by! Happy polishing!

Born Pretty Store Review: Nail Wraps

Happy Saturday my loves! Hope you had a great week! I'm excited for this long weekend and all the awesome sales going on. But, before all that happens, I have one more great item from Born Pretty Store to share with you- Nail Wraps with an Elegant Blue Flower Pattern, item #22602.
Click here to see and/or buy this item.

These full nail design stickers are just wonderful. Super easy to use, complete instructions on the back, and look great on! I've always had issues with nail wraps like this, but these were the first I've been able to successfully use.

I really love how these worked out! Quick and super easy. My only recommendation is that if you plan on using them on all 10 nails and you have wide nail beds like mine, you should buy two so that you can guarantee you have enough to fit each nail.

Overall, I highly recommend these nail wraps. They're easy to use and look fantastic! Perfect for a quick mani or some added bling to any mani.

Born Pretty Store Review: Holographic Nail Foils

Greetings my polishes lovelies! Hope your week was wonderful and you're enjoying your weekend! Today I have another item for you from Born Pretty Store, Holographic Nail Foils, item #21772.

Click here to view and/or buy this item.

This particular set has silver holo graphic leaves on it. Perfect for fall! It comes package in a small, easy to open container. There is quite a lot of product in these tiny containers, which is great as you may have a few trial and error experiences. I will start this review by suggesting you acquire proper foil glue before using these. I followed the instructions provided on the website, which indicated that it was possible to use just regular nail polish. While this was somewhat true, I can't help but think proper glue would have lead me to be much more successful with this. Here is the result of my first attempts using the foils:

Polishes used: Loaded Lacquer Coffee Collection Mystery, Dream Polish Smooth Gem Base Coat, KBShimmer Clearly On Top Top Coat

As you can see, not a very successful attempt. Frustration set in quickly as you can imagine. What did transfer looks cool, so I kept hope alive and changed my game plan a bit.

Polishes used: Candied Apple Polish Burnt Rasberry, Creative Cuticles Nail Polish Megan, Dream Polish Smooth Gem Base Coat and Gem Glam Top Coat

Success! After talking to some fellow bloggers and getting their advice, I changed how I applied the foils. I created decals by painting a thick coat of the base polish over the design I wanted, and let it dry before peeling it off and applying to my nail. So much easier!

The pinky nail decal unfortunately lost the holo effect when I applied a layer of top coat to expedite the drying time. Lesson learned! Overall, the design is very cute and I like how it looks on the nail.

This decal I used no top coat at all. However, I believe some of the holo effect got rubbed off in transition. Overall, it's a nice design and I like how it looks.

This is a very cute and unique product. Another great and relatively simple way to add nail art. The roll has a lot on it, so plenty to do a lot of manis! I plan to try these again in the future with proper nail glue. I truly think this will make a huge difference and make using them much easier.

Have a fantastic weekend my polished lovelies!!

Born Pretty Store Review: Gold V Shape 3D Nail Stickers

Happy Monday my lovelies! Hope your weekend was fantabulous! I have another goodie from Born Pretty Store for you today. The Gold V Shape 3D Nail Stickers, item #21776.

Click here to see and/or buy this item.

These nail stickers are easy to use and are a great way to quickly add some extra oomph to any mani! As you can see it comes with a couple different designs on the sheet, enough for a few different manis. Simply choose the design you'd like to use, and stick it onto your nails (after your mani has fully dried).

Polishes used: Velvet Rope and Gold Glitter Prototype by Bliss Polish.

I love the added fancy factor these stickers added to my mani. I highly recommend these stickers. The V shaped ones are curved at the bottom to match your nail curve! This was an added bonus I was delighted to find; made placing the stickers much easier.
