TGIF my lovelies! It's finally the weekend and I am so happy! I am totally looking forward to sleeping in this weekend. But before I get to any of that, I have some new pretties to share with you! It's nearing the middle of the month and you know what that means! POLISH PICKUP REVEALS! The theme for April is Space, and I have the honor of swatching Great Lakes Lacquer's contribution.
If you didn't know already, Polish Pickup is a new approach to monthly indie polish subscription boxes. Each month, members submit theme ideas and then vote on the top 10 themes. The winning theme is then used by the makers to choose their inspiration for their polish and/or bath and body products. There are as many as 70 polish makers each month. The best part, you can pick and choose which polishes you'd like to purchase, and every order ships for only $3. It's like a make your own sub box!

Going, Going, Already Gone
Going, Going, Already Gone is described as a grayed out seafoam green packed with shifting shimmers that go from orange to green and red, several different kinds of iridescent flakes that glow form pink to purple/blue/gold/green, and highlighted with a bit of scattered holo. When I say 'packed', I mean PACKED! There is so much goodness in this polish y'all! The base color perfectly bounces off the colors and shifts of the flakies. The base is on the jelly side to me, sheer but builds up easily. The formula is perfection, zero dragging even with all those flakies. The first set of swatches show two coats plus a glossy topcoat. The second set show it with a matte topcoat because #MatteAllTheFlakies.
