Hello my lovelies! It's been a full week of posting and new pretties to share with you all! It's the end of the month, which means one thing. Polish Pickup preorders are just around the corner! April's theme is space, and y'all they brought out the big guns. Today I have Night Owl Lacquer's contribution, You Heard About Pluto?
If you didn't already know, Polish Pickup is a new approach to monthly indie polish subscription boxes. Each month, members submit theme ideas and then vote on the top 10 themes. The winning theme is then used by the makers to choose their inspiration for their polish and/or bath and body products. There are as many as 70+ polish makers each month. The best part, you can pick and choose which polishes you'd like to purchase, and every order ships for only $3. It's like a make your own sub box!
Now back to the amazingness Lindsay created! You Heard About Pluto? is inspired by Pluto with a lil bit of the TV show Psych thrown in. On the show, one of the character's, Gus, favorite pick-up line is "You heard about Pluto? That's messed up right?!"
You Heard About Pluto?
You Heard About Pluto? is a griege (grey beige) crelly with copper shimmer, charcoal flakies, bright silver flakes and red/copper/orange/gold ultra chrome chameleon flakes. Flakies on flakies on flakies! This is a great neutral, work appropriate shade too. I love the copper shimmer and how it changes a little when it gets caught on over a flakie shift. The formula is amazing, applied buttery smooth and was super easy to work with. Swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.
This beauty will be available, along with all the other polishes for April's theme, from April 6th-9th on the Polish Pickup website.
