Happy Hump Day lovelies! It's been a busy week for me with work and all, but I'm super glad to be back with some pretties for you! It's a brand new month and that means brand new releases for the Polish Pickup. Today I have one more beauty for you to add to your wishlist!
If you didn't already know, Polish Pickup is a new approach to monthly indie polish subscription boxes. Each month, members submit theme ideas and then vote on the top 10 themes. The winning theme is then used by the makers to choose their inspiration for their polish and/or bath and body products. There are as many as 70+ polish makers each month. The best part, you can pick and choose which polishes you'd like to purchase, and every order ships for only $3. It's like a make your own sub box!
For the month of May, the theme is 90's Pop Culture. I have the privilege of swatching The Don Deeva's contribution, Shamrocks & Shenanigans. This beauty is inspired by the hip hop group, House of Pain, who hit the scene with their infectious and catchy single "Jump Around". So pack it up, pack it in, and let me begin...showing you my swatches! ;)
Shamrocks & Shenanigans
Shamrocks & Shenanigans is a silver holo packed full of orange, gold, and green UCC flakes, and micro glitter in gold and copper for that extra pow. This is not your momma's silver holo. She's got that extra oomph that matches the swagger that House of Pain was all about. Formula is butter, super easy to apply. Every brush dip was filled with flakes and glitter. Polish appears sheer, but builds easily and quickly. Swatches show three coats, but can easily reach nice opacity in two thick coats, and A-Quickie glossy top coat on top.
Shamrocks and Shenanigans will be available for $15, with a cap of 120 bottles. This month's sale goes live on May 4th at 11:00 am EST, and ends on May 7th. Since there is a cap, I recommend getting your ninja fingers ready. Don't forget to join the Polish Pickup Pack on Facebook to get all the latest updates! Until next time lovelies!
